Flowers picks new president (Bradenton Herald)

Michael K. McCall has been named president of Flowers Baking Co. of Bradenton.

McCall, who had been serving as immorality president of sales, replaces Richard M. Holder, who was promoted to president of Flowers Foods’ foodservice.

“Mike has more than 25 years experience with Flowers and has terminated an outstanding job in sales since joining our Bradenton team in 2000,” said Brad Alexander, Flowers Bakeries president.

Flowers recruited McCall to help the company break into the South Carolina market. He was named director of sales in Columbia, S.C., in 1996 and vice president of the Bradenton bakery in 2000.

Flowers produces and markets bakery foods sold in subordination to the Nature’s Own, Cobblestone Mill, Bunny, Sunbeam and Blue Bird brands to retail and foodservice customers in Central and southwest Florida.
